A: We do not install insulation nor recommend insulating any outdoor animal structure. Since metal roofs have a low thermal mass, they reflect light and heat rather than absorbing it like asphalt shingles. Metal roofs help keep it cool, increasing the ventilation efficiency of your structure. Q: What is the color in the photo? A: Since we receive this question a lot, please note that metal colors will look slightly different in each photo within our product listings. This is due to the outside lighting depending on full sunshine, partly cloudy, or overcast weather. If you’re unsure on the exact metal colors, we recommend purchasing our metal keychain samples so you can view the colors up close. Q: What type of building materials are used? A: All structures are framed with ACQ pressure treated and is safe for animals. The standard metal we use is 29 gauge, manufactured here in the USA. All structures are built on 4x6 ground contact-pressure treated skids for portability. They are marine grade for all weather applications. Q: Can I cancel my order? A: All sales are final, we highly recommend placing your order only when you know you’re ready. If you’re unable to wait for one of our high quality portable buildings then we always recommend reaching out to a local builder in your area that may be able to assist your immediate shelter needs. There are farm and garden stores that sell the simple tarp style shelters that can be used until your shelter arrives. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BELOW ———————————————————— DELIVERY On delivery arrival, if your grounds are too saturated from recent rains and weather or you have any obstructions blocking the path used for delivery, the driver cannot deliver. You will be billed separately for a Re-Delivery for total mileage to your address of service. The first delivery is 100 miles free. All other delivery attempts will in-cure an additional cost for the fuel mileage. If you are unsure if your property is dry enough for delivery, we recommend walking the path the truck and trailer will take to access your land. Then press your shoe or boot heel into the ground with all your weight. If your heel sinks an inch then our trailers will get stuck.
